Should I shut up because I am a girl? Should I feel sorry of being a girl? Why should I take somebody with me to go anywhere? Why should I feel insecure and afraid of going anywhere?
All these questions really makes a girl sick! Almost every girl have gone through this trauma. Each of us have gone through incidents of teasing. I am asking here why? Why being a girl is a curse to us?
Things have changed a lot but the mentality of the so called 'MAN' remained same. Why do they think that girls will not say or do anything whatever they do with us? This is my urge to each girl reading it - Be bold to take action now!! This is now or never deal! We are not here to shy away. We are not made to negotiate with the silence. Break the silence and fight for your right! Things are getting aggravated because we remained silent , because we didn't give a reaction. Only we are the victim here. Why should we feel guilty and shameful of any others sin. This is the only time to react, to fight, to woo those people who are trying to take advantage of our shyness and silence. Our attitude of not taking any action and not reacting to the situation are the problems we need to fight with. Why can't we weaken these weaknesses, to make ourselves brave enough to get our right. The RIGHT to feel SECURE, The RIGHT to feel SAFE, the RIGHT to MOVE FREELY wherever we want.
I appreciate the bravery shown by a girl who reacted to her alleged molester and I want every girl to react in the same way. I would like to thank her and share her video to inspire others.
I am writing this blog to aware each person out there that we are now READY to REACT. We are not going to remain silent now. This is your turn the so called MAN, this time,''Beware of us''.
